Best Mobile Phone Family DealThis is the Best Mobile Phone Family Deal you will find any where. For as little as £5 per month, a family, or group of friends can call each other free of charge and as often as they like...It is far more expensive for the individual members of a family, or a group of friends, to communicate with each other using their individual mobile phone packages rather than make use of a family package. The overall cost of the individual packages, for a group of five members, is a staggering 900% more expensive than a family package. In this article, I will show you how family or group packages are not only 900% cheaper, but are also much more convenient for family and group communication. On average, my pay as you go mobile phone package, using a flat rate of 15p/minute flat rate network, used to cost me around £10 per month. It was mostly spent calling home or one of the other four mobile phones in the family. Other members of the family spent similar amounts on their pay as you go packages. We did not use our pay as you go mobile phones except when necessary and we always cut our conversations short to minimise costs. The problem of having to closely monitor our pay as you go mobile phone spending was sometimes exasperated because three of the members of the family are children who occasionally blown their monthly £10 credit on down loading internet games using their mobile phones. Our total cost of having separate pay as you go packages was roughly £50 per month (5 *£10 = £50). Contrast that with a family package costing a mere £5 per month for the whole group; which allows all members of the group to freely communicate with one another whenever they wished, and with out worrying about any further costs, as long as they don't exceed 60 minutes per call. Clearly, this is not only 900% cheaper than having individual pay as you go packages, but also much more convenient as it removes the need to closely monitor costs, and you no longer have to cut conversations short to save call costs. In case you are wondering how I arrived at the 900% figure, here is how it is worked out: Savings = 100 * (£50 - £5) / £5 = 900% The best thing about having a group package is that the children can't go blowing their pay as you go credit on downloading internet games like they used to do when they each had their own package; nor can they waste it on meaningless calls to their friends, etc. They can, however, freely call the other members of the group with out needing any credit. This is a perfect arrangement as most people provide their children with a mobile phone mainly to maintain contact with them and to allow them to get help in emergencies. There are a number of packages that offer family/group tariffs; which can be added to either pay as you go, or contract subscription. For pay as you go, this the best mobile phone family deal I have found is Vodafone Family, which for a mere £5 per month allows four members of a group (or six members for £7) to call each other free as long as each call is less than 60 minutes. To start using this tariff, all you have to do is register online and pay the first month's £5 fee.
